Who We Are

University of Rwanda's School of Law team for the Vis Moot 2024 is composed of 6 Fourth Year students, 3 brilliant young women and 3 excellent young men. This year's vismoot experience will be the second ever Vis Moot experience for the University and their very first in-person moot.

The team of young women and men from the land of a thousand hills aspires to play its part in making Arbitration and ADR in general, work better and more efficiently for Rwanda, East Africa and Africa given Africa's resolve to tap into the AFCFTA and other regional economic efforts, and what better way to ensure this than making use of opportunties like the Vis Moot?

With the generosity of various partners and sponsors, Zuhla, Jamirah Dorothy, Pacifique, Claude and Ferdinand are keen to challenge themselves as they learn from fellow Arbitration enthusiasts in the region and beyond to continue developing Arbitration for business both for today and the future.

With the unwavering support of coaches; Emmanuel (Rwanda), and satelite coaches; Mees (Netherlands), Aayan (Pakistan) and Regina (Zimbabwe), the University depsite having no real prior experience in the Vis Moot is surely GOING FOR GOLD. We are ready to LEARN, COMPETE AND NETWORK both in the East Africa Pre-Moot and the finals in Vienna.
