Fawaz Haroun

Fawaz Haroun is a fourth year law student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. He was an oralist in the University of Lagos Vis Moot team 2021. He has interests in commercial law, international law and arbitration.

Ifeoluwa Oguntuashe

Ifeoluwa Oguntuashe is a fourth year law student at the University of Lagos. She participated in the 2021 Vis Moot competition due to her interest in International Law and Arbitration. She believes that mooting competitions are a great way to hone her speaking skills, as well as improve on being a better team worker, and she looks forward to participating in other competitions.

Clinton Charles Durueke

Clinton Charles Durueke is a 400 Level Law Student at the University of Lagos. He was a member of the University of Lagos Team for the 2021 edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition. He has career interests in Arbitration and he looks forward to consolidating on his Vis experience in the years to come.

Joseph Ayinde

Joseph Ayinde is a 400 level student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Joseph was part of the University of Lagos team that participated in the 2021 Vis Moot competition. Joseph has interests in Alternative Dispute Resolution areas such as international arbitration and mediation.

Chukwudifu Jason Okoli

Chukwudifu Jason Okoli is a law student of the University of Lagos who has broad interests in policy making, technology, and entertainment law. He is also developing interests in Intellectual Property, Commercial Transactions and Arbitration, part of which motivated his participation in the 2021 Vis Moot. He looks forward to building on his interests in future competitions and activities.

Olaniyi Oyindamola David

Olaniyi Oyindamola David is a third year undergraduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Oyindamola has interests in Alternative Dispute Resolution, specifically arbitration, and he participated in the 2021 Vis Moot to develop his knowledge in the area of law.

Ayotunde Abiodun is a second year law student at the University of Lagos. He was a researcher for the University of Lagos 2021 Vis Moot Team and he has interests in areas of commercial law and international.

Joseph Olaogun

Joseph Olaogun is a final year student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, who has broad interests in different areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Law, Intellectual Property Law, and human rights law. He was a Director of Research for the University of Lagos ADR Society and is currently the Society’s Head of Research Institute. Joseph is admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and looks forward to continually developing his knowledge through various extra-curricular activities and research.

Dario Simone Palmiotti (Coach)

Dario holds an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution (IADR) and further specialized in arbitration by attending several arbitration courses such as the widely recognised Arbitration Academy in Paris (2019) and The Hague Academy of International Law (2021). Mr Palmiotti is admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) and several institutes of arbitrators in the Asia-Pacific region. He is listed in the Panel of Arbitrators of the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) and the Centre for International Alternative Dispute Resolution (CiADR). He has significant experience at arbitral institutions such as the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). He participated in the 22nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where his team ranked among the best 64 teams at the oral phase. Since 2017, he has actively advised and coached different universities. He also participates regularly as an arbitrator in competitions held each year in Vienna and Hong Kong.
