Team excellence in the Deakin Moot

We celebrate our teams from Addis Ababa University, Strathmore University, University of Lago, University of Lagos and University of Pretoria on their accomplishments during the Alfred Deakin International Commercial Arbitration Moot earlier this year! We also congratulate Lulu Sorobit and Dione van Gaalen on their high commendations as oralists and Oluwasemilore Olowukore for the award for Best Oralist!

We are proud of the resilience and commitment our teams demonstrated throughout the competition. Their achievements reflect the collective talent, potential and brilliance of our community! We applaud every member of our teams as well as their coaches, mentors and supporters, whose guidance and encouragement we rely on to shape a brighter future for the legal landscape in Africa. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organisers at Deakin University and Deakin Law School, and Linda Black and team for their generosity, support and dedication to fostering diversity at the Deakin Moot and arbitration at large.
