Education and Training Series | In Conversation with Prof. Stefan Kröll: The Making of the Vis Moot

Africa in the Moot Educational & Training Series, in the context of the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the 23rd Vis East Competition.

The Africa in the Moot Education Series is back, and we’re starting strong - new season, new insights, same Vis Moot spirit! To open the 2025/2026 season, we’re joined by one of the pillars of the Vis Moot community, Prof. Dr. Stefan Kröll, LL.M, Professor and Director of the Centre for International Dispute Resolution at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg - a Vis Moot Master whose name is synonymous with the Moot itself. In this special session, “In Conversation with Prof. Stefan Kröll: The Making of the 33rd Vis Moot,” we go behind the scenes of how one of the world’s most celebrated moot problems comes to life. The session will be moderated by our very own Pavan Swamy, Director of Africa in the Moot & Associate Teaching Fellow, Deakin Law School, Melbourne, with opening remarks and season kick-off by Africa in the Moot Director, Erin Cronjé.

Tuesday, 13 October 2025 @ 2:00PM GMT / WAT / 3:00PM CET, 4:00PM EAT
